Check that the cooker is turned on at the mains.



Did this resolve the issue?

Check that the cooker circuit is switched on at the fuse board. If either, or both, the cooker switch or the RCD (if the fuse board has one) is in the OFF position, check for any faults with the cooker and try switching the switches back into the ON position.



Did this resolve the issue, or did the switch trip back into the OFF position?

Does the oven light illuminate when you open the oven door?

Sometimes a cooker can appear off until a program is selected.

Check that the control knob has been turned to the desired function and temperature.

Check that no timers have been enabled on the cooker.

Turn the oven off at the mains for a few minutes, then turn back on.



Did this resolve the issue?

Some cookers have a child lock option to prevent the cooker settings from being accidentally changed.
 
Check that the child lock is not enabled.
