Check that there is nothing blocking the fan.

Is the cooker turned on at the mains
Check that the cooker is turned on at the mains.

Cooker circuit is on at the fuse board
Check that the cooker circuit is switched on at the fuse board. If either, or both, the cooker switch or the RCD (if the fuse board has one) is in the OFF position, check for any faults with the cooker and try switching the switches back into the ON position.



Did this resolve the issue, or did the switch trip back into the OFF position?
Fan working
Is the fan now working?
Cooker is level
Check that the cooker is installed on a firm level base and is correctly balanced.

Shelf positioning
Check that the shelves and any bake ware are not in contact with the back of the oven.

Reasons for condensation and pre-heat procedure
It is normal for condensation and steam to build up in the oven during and after cooking especially with food which has a high water content (e.g., chicken or frozen chips).

Pre-heating the oven before placing food into the oven can help reduce the amount of condensation being produced.

Refrain from leaving food in the oven to cool
Refrain from leaving food in the oven to cool down after being cooked.

This will minimise steam and condensation being produced.

Check the cooker door window seal for damage.

Has the correct temperature and cooking function been selected?

Ensure the oven door is properly shut.

Food positioning
Ensure all food is centralised in the oven and always placed upon a shelf. Try not to place food directly on the bottom of the oven, as this stops heat circulating correctly around the oven.

Check that the cooker circuit is switched on at the fuse board. If either, or both, the cooker switch or the RCD (if the fuse board has one) is in the OFF position, check for any faults with the cooker and try switching the switches back into the ON position.

Does the cooker interior light now work?
Food or debris obstruction
Check that there is no food or debris obstructing the fan.
