Oven door
Check that the oven door has been properly shut.

Check the oven door window seal for damage.



Is the oven door seal damaged?
Door seal replacement
The door window seal needs to be replaced.
Function and temperature setting
Check that the control knob has been turned to the correct temperature and function.

Ensure all food is placed centrally upon a shelf and not at the back of the oven.

Please check your cooker manual for the correct shelf positioning for specific types of food.

Opening the oven door
Open the oven door only when it is necessary e.g., turning food. Frequently opening the oven door will lower the internal cooker temperature, which can result in food being unevenly cooked.

Cookware
Using dark cookware absorbs more heat than white / light coloured cookware, which can affect the cooking time. If you are using dark cookware, reduce the cooking time or use white / light coloured cookware.
