Is the mains power connected?
Check that the microwave is plugged in and turned on at the mains.



Do you have power?
Does another device power on?
To cross test the power supply try another electrical appliance on the same mains socket.



Does the other appliance power on?
Change the fuse
Try changing the fuse on the plug. Always use a new fuse with the same Amp rating as the fuse being removed.



Do you have power?
Tripped switches on fuse box?
Check to see if any RCD breakers have been tripped inside your Fusebox.



Have any switches been tripped?
Switch fuse to ON position
Switch the tripped fuse back on.



Does it stay in the ON position?
Do you have power?
Do you now have power?


Unplug the microwave from the mains
Unplug the microwave from the mains, then call Tech Support.



Check the door
Check that there is nothing obstructing the door, preventing it from shutting properly.



Does the microwave stay on now?
Vents blocked?
Blocking the vents can cause the microwave to overheat and turn off.



Remove any objects which are blocking the vents.

Ensure the microwave vents have plenty of space for air to circulate.

Please check your microwave manual for the recommended clearance requirements.

Touchpad / Control panel
Check that all the buttons are responding correctly on the touchpad / control panel.



Press each of the buttons on the touchpad / control panel.

Is the touchpad responding correctly?
Does another device power on?
To cross test the power supply try another electrical appliance on the same mains socket.



Does the other appliance power on?
Change the fuse
Try changing the fuse on the plug. Always use a new fuse with the same Amp rating as the fuse being removed.



Does the microwave stay on now?
Tripped switches on fuse box?
Check to see if any RCD breakers have been tripped inside your Fusebox.

Switch fuse to ON position
Switch the tripped fuse back on.

Child lock enabled
Some models of microwaves have a child lock option, check that the child lock is not enabled.



Please check your microwave manual for this procedure.

Carry out a power cycle
Switch the microwave off at the mains and remove the plug. Leave for 5 minutes. Plug the microwave back into the mains and switch on.

Plug the microwave into an alternative mains socket and switch on.

Change the fuse
Try changing the fuse on the plug. Always use a new fuse with the same Amp rating as the fuse being removed.

Manual control
On some microwave models, if you set the timer for under 2 minutes the microwave will only run for a few seconds then turn off.

Turn the manual timer control to 2 minutes, then turn it back to the desired lower time.



Does the microwave stay on now?
Eco / Power saving mode
Some microwave models have an Eco / Power saving mode which turns off the display and disables the touchpad/control when the microwave has not been used after a period of time.



Please check the manual to see if your microwave has Eco / Power saving mode switched on.
