Is the correct remote control being used for the sound bar?
The sound bar remote will need to be used for the main operations.

The batteries in the remote may need replacing.
Replace the batteries and ensure they are the correct polarity.

Carry out an IR test on the remote control.
This should be using a digital camera without an IR filter, most commonly a front facing (Selfie) camera on a smartphone. Point the remote at the screen and press any button on the remote.
if the remote is working correctly you should see the LED in the remote flash when the buttons are pressed.
Does the IR transmitter LED flash?
Try pairing the Bluetooth remote control.
Refer to the user manual for exact instructions on how to pair your remote control.
