Is the door fully closed?

Ensure the door is fully closed.


Push the door until you hear the locking sound.


Do you have power?

Has a drying cycle been selected?

Check that the drying cycle has been selected, then press the start button.

Is the mains power connected?

Check that the tumble dryer is plugged in and turned on at the mains.

Does another device power on?

To cross test the power supply try another electrical appliance on the same mains socket.


Does the other appliance power on?

Change the fuse

Try changing the fuse on the plug. Always use a new fuse with the same Amp rating as the fuse being removed.

Tripped switches on fuse box?

Check to see if any RCD breakers have been tripped inside your Fusebox.


Have any switches been tripped?

Switch fuse to ON position

Switch the tripped fuse back on.


Does it stay in the ON position?

Check that the correct drying cycle has been selected, then press the start button.

Is there a delay timer set?
If a delay timer has been set, the tumble dryer will not commence until the timer has finished.


Check if a delay timer has been set.

Carry out a power cycle

Turn the tumble dryer off at the mains and remove the plug.


Leave for 30 seconds, then plug the tumble dryer back into the mains and turn the plug on.


Does the drying cycle now start?

Does another device power on?

To cross test the power supply try another electrical appliance on the same mains socket.

Try changing the fuse on the plug. Always use a new fuse with the same Amp rating as the fuse being removed.

Switch the tumble dryer off at the mains and remove the plug. 


Leave for 5 minutes. Plug the tumble dryer back into the mains and switch on.
