Please check your tumble dryer manual troubleshooting guide for the error code meaning and resolution.
Room ambient temperature

Ensure the room where the tumble dryer is installed is between 5°c - 35°c. Below 5°c the tumble dryer may not operate correctly and will not heat up.


Heat the room, or move the tumble dryer to another room which is heated.


Has the condensation / moisture now disappeared in the drum?

Is the load too large?

Ensure the amount of clothing placed into the drum does not exceed to recommended load weight.


Overloading the tumble dryer can reduce the heat circulation around the clothing leaving condensation or moisture in the tumble dryer.

Condenser blocked?

The condenser prevents fibres which are released from clothing in the tumble dryer from blocking the condenser.

When the lint filter is blocked with fluff, this restricts air flow and can lead to poor drying results which can cause condensation / moisture being left in the drum.


Remove the lint filter and remove any build up of fluff.

Is the room well ventilated?

If the room is not well ventilated with insufficient airflow, this can make the room steam up, produce poor drying results or can make the tumble dryer overheat.


Ensure the room where the tumble is installed is well ventilated.


Check that any air vents are not blocked on the tumble dryer.

Is the clothing too wet?

If clothing is overly wet when placed into the tumble dryer, they will take longer to dry.


Ensure the clothing is sufficiently spun in the washing machine before being placed into the tumble dryer.

Ensure the correct drying time has been selected for the clothing you are drying.

Ventilation grills blocked?

The ventilation grills allow air to circulate. Blocked ventilation grills can cause the drying cycle to take longer.


Check that the ventilation grills are clear and not blocked and ensure the room is well ventilated.

The air inlet allows air to be taken into the tumble dryer, then past the heating element.


If the air inlet grill is blocked this will stop air getting into the tumble dryer, which can cause the tumble dryer to take longer to dry the clothing. If left the tumble dryer can overheat and cut out.


Check that the air inlet grill is not blocked and that the room is well ventilated.

Is the humidity / moisture sensor dirty?

The humidity / moisture sensor detects the humidity in the tumble dryer, which helps with the drying processes and drying cycle length.


If the humidity / moisture sensor is not clean, the amount of humidity in the drum may not be accurately detected, which can make the drying cycle longer.


Check that the humidity / moisture sensor is clean.

Is the mains power connected?

Check that the tumble dryer is plugged in and turned on at the mains.


Does the drum now move?

Can the drum be moved by hand?

Switch the tumble dryer off at the mains and remove the plug.


Try moving the drum by hand.

Is the load too large?

Ensure the amount of clothing placed into the drum does not exceed to recommended load weight.

Clothing can get caught between the door seal and drum which can create a burning rubber smell.


Check that the clothing is placed properly inside the drum.

Ensure that the door is fully closed.


Push the door of the tumble dryer until you hear the locking click.


Is there still moisture around the door?

Check the door seal

If lint builds up on the door seal, moisture can build up around the door during the drying cycle.


Also clothing can get caught between the door and door seal allowing moisture to build up around the door during the drying cycle.


Check that the seals on the door are clean and free from lint and no clothing is caught between the door and door seal.
