What kind of aerial do you have?
Do you have an indoor or outdoor aerial?


Is the aerial with range of the primary transmitter?
When an indoor aerial is purchased there a range in miles specified on the box.

You can check the distance from your nearest transmitter using the Freeview coverage checker at the following website https://www.freeview.co.uk/help/what-transmitter-receive-signal
Reposition the aerial
Try repositioning the aerial in a more open space such as a window.

Unfortunately the indoor aerial you have is it not suitable, you require an indoor aerial which is in range of your primary transmitter or an outdoor aerial.

Unplug the set top box and plug it back in.
